Kia EV9 SUV
Kia's EV9 SUV will be filling an important slot that's currently missing in the EV marketplace — an affordable, all-electric three-row SUV. Still technically a concept, the production EV9 looks to carry over the concept SUV's radical styling nearly intact. Kia refers to the grille-less front as a "tiger mask", flanked by S-shaped angular LED strips, a design element repeated at the rear. The lighting configuration varies depending on trim level. In terms of size, the EV9 is slightly longer than the current Telluride, meaning the interior is slightly larger as well, with a clean, uncluttered layout that relies almost exclusively on a touchscreen for controls. Interestingly, leather seating will not be offered. While Kia didn't reveal powertrain specs, the EV9 is built on the E-GMP platform, making two options with 220 and 260 miles of range likely.
