Lazzarini Embryon Hyperboat Concept
Lazzarini Design Studio is giving naval architecture a dose of modernity with their Embryon tender concept. The Embyron makes an immediate visual statement with its transparent carbon fiber hull. Transparent from the inside, the outside is mirror-finished for privacy, while giving passengers an incredible view of the sea — all with 30 percent less weight than traditional materials. Lazzarini envisions the 79-foot Embryon being powered by either a hydrogen propulsion system or a hybrid system comprised of two MAN V-12 diesels and an electric motor — enough for a top speed of 65 knots. Up to eight people are split between a master, VIP, and three double suites for overnight voyages, while two L-lounges seat 10 with a sundeck and swim platform.
