In case you've missed the myriad announcements, it's the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing. Lego's joining the celebration with this Lunar Lander model. Developed in collaboration with NASA, the 1,087-piece set consists of an ascent stage with detailed interior, a descent stage with a ladder and opening hatches, and a lunar baseplate with a crater, moon footprints, and US flag. Of course, this wouldn't be important without the astronauts, so two minifigs representing Aldrin and Armstrong are in the box, as well.
