Leica D-Lux 7 Vans x Ray Barbee Camera

Pro skateboarder Ray Barbee got his start in the '80s, and not long after combined his passions by taking photos of his fellow skaters. This limited edition Leica D-Lux 7 celebrates both Barbee's journey and Vans' place in it. The camera is adorned with Vans' black & white checkerboard pattern and has both Barbee's signature and the Vans logo on the top plate, while the carrier strap and matching dust bag are a handsome petrol blue. The Ray Barbee quote, "The joy is in capturing the journey" appears on one side of the dust bag, while the other carries a Ernst Leitz II quote from 1924: "Ich entscheide hiermit: Es wird riskiert" ("I hereby decide: it will be risked"). The camera is limited to 800 examples worldwide and is joined by a line of matching shoes and apparel from Vans.
