Leica ZM 11 Watch
Much like building a camera, creating a mechanical timepiece requires precision engineering. Leica knows a thing or two about all three and is expanding on its timepiece collection with the ZM 11. It's powered by an automatic Leica Calibre LA-3001 movement, engineered by Swiss developer Chronode, visible through the presentation back of the 41mm case. A dual-layered dial provides a gradient-like look beneath the lume-filled brushed indexes and sand-blasted hands. A date window at 3 o'clock completes the face, while an Easy Change strap system, activated by pressing the red dot on the rear, makes going from a casual rubber or fabric strap to a matching metal bracelet as easy as changing clothes. Water resistant to 100 meters, the watch is available in three versions: the ZM 11 Titanium Launch Edition with a black and red dial and limited to 250 examples, the ZM 11 Titanium Coffee Black with a warm-black dial, and the ZM 11 Steel Midnight Blue with a blue and black dial. All three will be available beginning in November.
