It's not exactly a laptop. It's definitely not a desktop. What the ThinkPad X1 Fold is, then, is the world's first foldable PC. A 4:3, 13.3-inch foldable OLED display allows the device to work in several different ways, including as a touchscreen laptop, with pen support, as a pure tablet, in a book-like layout, or, with the included, magnetically-attaching keyboard and fold-out kickstand, as a makeshift desktop. It's powered by Intel Hybrid Core processors, weighs under 2.2 lbs, and will be available in mid-2020.
