Longines Pilot Majetek Watch
One April 1, 1935, Longines registered the original Pilot watch at International Industrial Property Office in Bern, Switzerland. Nearly 90 years later, the Pilot continues as a reliable timepiece with an ageless design. That design was intended to be clear and easy to read with a rotating bezel and marker to measure the duration of a flight. The updates to the Pilot are subtle but substantial. Rounded lugs and a 43mm case size are the exterior changes, while the Longines L893.6 calibre has a silicon balance spring that makes the watch magnetically resistant — an important feature in the cockpit. The two-stitch strap is available in either brown leather or a polyester fiber NATO-type.
