Louis Vuitton x Alex Israel Woody Wagon Colognes

Alex Israel has spent his career distilling Los Angeles into pop imagery like sunsets, palm trees, and surfboards. Since 2019, he's channeled that vision into collaborations with Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, master perfumer of Louis Vuitton's Parfums de Cologne line. Their latest work is the Woody Wagon Colognes: a hand-built, miniature wood-paneled station wagon that houses all six colognes in the collection, limited to 66 pieces as a wink at Route 66. It took 60 artisans more than 7,000 hours to assemble the wagon's 219 individual parts, from mahogany wood paneling and Monogram-engraved doors to wheels finished with the house's monogram flower motif and trim in semi-aged natural beige leather. Inside are the six scents that make up the collection: Afternoon Swim, Pacific Chill, Sun Song, California Dream, City of Stars, and On the Beach. Together, they capture the same inspiration Israel keeps returning to: surfboard strapped to the roof, family packed in back, ocean waiting just past the next rise.
