The most powerful EV in North America is coming in June 2022 with the release of the Lucid Air Grand Touring Performance EV. The Air Grand Touring Performance packs dual motors, one at each axle, with a total output of 1,050 horsepower — enough to rocket the four-door heavyweight sedan from 0-60 in 2.6 seconds. Even more impressive is an EPA estimated range of 446 miles, although that will fall dramatically depending on how many passes are made at the local drag strip. All Lucid Air sedans feature a 900v DC fast-charging system that can deliver 300 miles of range in 21 minutes using a 350kW charger.
