Located in the north-eastern corner of Akagera National Park, the Magashi Safari Camp is right in the middle of Africa's best wildlife. The six-tent resort on the edge of Lake Rwanyakazinga and includes dining, a bar, and an outdoor deck with a fire pit. Rooms are glamping-style suites with king beds and that open out to private terraces overlooking the reserve. While you're bound to get a glimpse of hippos or crocodiles from the camp, Magashi's guided tours and hikes get guests up close to the area's lions and rhinos, and since they're the only private access in Akagera, they can exclusively offer night drives for to check out the local leopards.
