Maison Henri Giraud Argonne 2011 Champagne
To close out 2020, an ordinary bottle of champagne just won't suffice. This 2011 vintage is up to the task. The bottle comes from one of the finest Champagne houses you've never heard of: Henri Giraud. Giraud is one of the only houses that lead essential maturation in oak and they pride themselves on sourcing wood for their barrels from the tight-grained trees of the historic Argonne woodland. This Grand Cru utilizes grapes from vineyards in the legendary village of Aÿ and is said to provide notes of apples and walnuts.
