Marie & Merrill Cookware
Named for the founders' grandparents — a self-taught chef and factory worker, respectively — Marie & Merrill Cookware blends American craftsmanship with professional quality. The entire range of skillets, sauté pans, saucepans, and stock pots is made in partnership with an independently-owned domestic factory, with a three-layer build that extends the heat-conducting aluminum middle layer all the way up the side for more even cooking. The outside is made from induction-friendly magnetic stainless steel and the cooking surface is 18/10 stainless steel, left bare or finished with a PFOA-free nonstick coating. All the pieces are dishwasher and oven-safe up to 500 degrees, have gently curved riveted handles that stay cool even on a hot stove, and thanks to a direct business model, they're available for far less than you'd pay for one of the celebrity chef-approved major brands.
