Maserati x Vita Power Tridente Electric Speedboat

Alongside the GranCabrio Folgore, Maserati had another unique electric vehicle on display at its Folgore Day — the Tridente electric speedboat. Part of a collaboration between Vita Power and Maserati, the 34-foot carbon fiber-hulled Tridente is based on Vita's Lion powerboat concept with design elements that bring it into the Maserati family. Seating for eight is complemented by a sundeck and swim platform at the stern. A small cabin ahead of the helm features a small bed, toilet, and sink. Power comes from four batteries split between the starboard and port, with two electric motors making 600 horsepower. The Tridente tops out at 40 knots and can cruise at 25 knots with a range of 43 miles, with a DC fast charger topping off the battery in under an hour. Orders for the Tridente are open now with a delivery time of 10 months.
