McIntosh MCD12000 SACD/CD Player
McIntosh brings its reference-grade audio experience to the compact disc with the MCD12000. The tray set in the middle of the MCD12000's gloss black front panel does allow you to play CDs, but the unit also serves as a reference-grade digital-to-analog converter, with professional 8-channel DACs handling conversion from the digital inputs and the CD player. The MCD12000 sports seven digital inputs: two coax, two optical, one USB type B, one AES/EBU, and one MCT input — enough for any piece of gear you can imagine. McIntosh's legendary discrete audio circuits and switchable tube or solid-state audio paths are included and on full display, along with the company's unique design.
