The first modern camper van produced by Mercedes-Benz for the US market, the Weekender is a pop-top ticket to adventure. It's built by Driverge Vehicle Innovations in partnership with longtime camper van experts Peace Vans. In standard trim, it has an elevating roof with a sleeping area for two, including integrated springs and a 2" memory foam mattress, a sliding rear bench seat that folds down into a bed for two additional sleepers, swiveling front seats to turn the van into a lounge during the day, and a second battery for plenty of power. Options include off-grid power solutions, upgraded audio and navigation, an 8-foot awning, bug screens, and a pull-out rear kitchen. Built atop the proven Metris platform, it also offers a host of daily driver comforts, including comprehensive safety features, Crosswind assist, and a tow rating of 5,000 pounds.
