Meta Quest 3 VR Headset

Meta's Quest 2 set the bar for consumer VR headsets. The Quest 3 is out to raise it. 40% slimmer than its predecessor, it's powered by a next-gen Snapdragon chipset with more than twice the graphics performance of the previous generation. The extra power is needed, as the Quest 3 has higher resolution displays and high-fidelity color passthrough with a depth sensor — the middle of three prominent sensor zones on the front — to enable mixed reality experiences. The Touch Plus controllers are similarly redesigned, with haptic feedback and without the oversized tracking ring of the Quest 2 controllers. The Meta Quest 3 will hit stores this fall and will be compatible with the full library of Quest 2 titles.
