Mima Light Floating House
Thanks to a wooden foundation covered in mirrors, the Mima Light Floating House appears to levitate above the ground on which it sits. Its modular design keeps environmental impact to a minimum, and allows for installation in a variety of spots where traditional building methods would be difficult. The interior is outfitted with wooden panels on the floor, walls, and ceiling, high-end fixtures, and a minimal bath and kitchen, while the exterior is clad in a combination of aluminum and laminated glass. Available in 9m and 12m varieties, but sadly for those of us in the States, only in the EU.
