October is breast cancer awareness month. As part of the Pink Dial project, a charity initiative aimed at fighting the disease, Montblanc has created this one-off 1858 Geosphere Pink Dial Unique Piece. It has a bold fuchsia-colored dial set inside a 42mm black DLC titanium case. Both the MB 29.25 manufacture movement and world timer complication — featuring two turning domed hemisphere globes — were assembled by female watchmakers. The globes are surrounded by time zone scales with day/night indications, and the dial also sports a second-time zone display at 9 o'clock and a date aperture at 3 o'clock. 100% of the proceeds of the auction, to be held in October, will be donated to breast cancer charities.
