Mr. and Mrs. Smith Lake Como Cottage

In episode five of the Amazon Prime series Mr. and Mrs. Smith, John and Jane hide out in a stone cottage on the edge of Lake Como. Fans of the series can now vacation like spies at the waterfront villa. Named The Writer's Nest, it was built in the 1800s inside an ancient stone quarry on the Faggeto Lario shoreline. The charming retreat spans 1,300 square feet and includes three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Its interior is furnished with old antiques and features a chestnut-line library overlooking the lake. Large glass doors open out to a grassy beach with lounge chairs, a dining table, and a dock. Accessibly only by boat, private transfers are available upon request.
