In the 1960's, the U.S. government created military specifications for what would become some of the most iconic timepieces ever. MWC spent countless hours studying some of these legendary watches, and built the GG-W-113, named after the government designation for the watch spec issued to military pilots during the Vietnam war. The best recreation of a classic Vietnam-era timepiece you'll find, the watch features a classic black dial with an inner ring to mark 24-hour time and 60-second increments, and a matte stainless steel case that's slightly larger than the originals (39.9mm compared to 36mm on the originals). Now also available is a limited edition black PVD stainless case, for those looking for a more covert and clandestine look. The watch is built around an automatic movement (unlike the manually-wound military versions) with hacking function — a process where the movement stops when the crown is pulled, a feature that was needed to synchronize soldier's watches during critical missions. Each arrives on a black NATO strap.
