NASA: The Worm
Designed by Richard Danne and Bruce Blackburn and used from 1975 to 1992, NASA's stylized text logo, affectionately known as "The Worm", is seared into the memories of anyone who grew up during its era. This new book celebrates the logo, its various uses across the Administration — helped along by stringent standards — and the achievements of those lucky enough to wear it in an official capacity. Over 200 images containing the logo appear inside the book, which has a red translucent silkscreened PVC jacket that allows for a glimpse of the exposed red thread binding. A perfect complement to the NASA Graphics Standards Manual.
