NCP x Snohetta S-1500 Chair

Part of a two-year plastics research project by Olso-based Snøhetta, the S-1500 is a fully sustainable seat. It was created in collaboration with Nordic Comfort Products and has an injection-molded body made from 100% recycled plastic, much of which comes from the worn-out ﬁsh nets and ropes of local fish farming companies. The sub-frame, meanwhile, is made from recycled steel. The resulting seat has an unassuming silhouette, a marbled, pebbled, and matte green surface, and a more interesting backstory than most.
