New Balance 2002R Distressed Gumsole
Given the name, you'd think New Balance's 2002R Protection Pack would include features to help guard your foot, the shoe itself, or both. Instead, its signature is a mesh upper overlaid with raw-edged suede meant to look as if it's been torn away with wear. This cream colorway leans into the distressed look with black highlights that intentionally make it look dirty. Fear not, however, as the Abzorb midsole and N-ergy gum rubber outsole still provide all the comfort, support, and traction expected from a box-fresh pair.
