New Balance XC-72 Dry Sage Sneakers
On many shoes, the outsole is an afterthought. On the XC-72, it's the basis for the entire design. Made from rubber, it's split vertically, with the gripper pattern of the XC15 on the outside and the 375's studded pattern on the inside. The logo line that separates them extends from the rear all the way through the toe and upwards, where it splits the upper's suede panels with recycled mesh before transforming into the microfiber tongue. Finished with mesh side panels, oversized "N" logos, and a herringbone heel clip borrowed from the 620.
