The latest addition to New Belgium's Up Next Series is hitting shelves as temps begin to rise. A great example of the experimental series, Passion Fruit Kolsch pushes the boundaries of traditional beer style definitions by combining a classic West German lager with a layer of passionfruit juice for a refreshing, balanced beer. The bright, pale yellow Kolsch is bursting with passion fruit, guava, and tropical fruit aromas, but drinks more like a light lager, with a touch of tartness, and a briefly bitter finish. It clocks in at just 4.3% ABV and 135 calories per 12oz. can, making it a perfect candidate to fill your cooler this summer.
