Nike Air Jordan 6 Infrared Salesman Sneaker
Michael Jordan wore the Tinker Hatfield-designed Air Jordan 6 during his first championship run in 1991. The Infrared colorway has been re-released multiple times over the years, but one version never did appear: the Infrared "Salesman". It appeared in a 1999 seasonal preview catalog but never released — until now. Differences between it and the other Infrared releases include the appearance of the red shade on most of the midsole, and modified internal bootie construction and tongue height to more closely match the AJ6 pairs MJ wore in-game, which had taller tongues than the pairs offered to the public. The Air Jordan 6 Infrared Salesman will drop on February 14 and will come with a factory hangtag and packaging that resembles how footwear samples arrive for review by retailers; an apparel pack, including new Air Jordan 1 Low and Flight Court styles, will also be available.
