Nike Air Jordan II Unreleased Prototype
The Air Jordan 2 was released in 1986, making waves for its high-end details and lack of swoosh. But Before it debuted, the now-iconic sneaker was a prototype. The original version had a different look, sporting the winged logo with the word Nike on the tongue and the side. It's missing the molded heel counter and has a perforated detail on the ankle. Although we can all agree the model that made it in stores reigns supreme, this prototype is a crucial piece of sneaker history. This Nike Air Jordan II Unreleased Prototype was bought from an estate of a former Nike employee and will be auctioned off starting May 26, 2023.
