Nike Air Zoom Alphafly Next Nature Running Shoe
Nike is bridging the sustainability gap between style and performance with the Alphafly Next Nature running shoe. A part of Nike's Move to Zero program — zero carbon and zero waste — the elite Alphafly has been remade with 50% recycled materials by weight. Nike used pre-consumer waste from Zoom Air forefoot pods manufacturing process to make the 3D-printed Flyprint and Flyknit uppers, while the ZoomX midsole is made of over 70% recycled content. The leftover ZoomX foam is then used to create the sock liner. Nike plans to scale up its sustainability initiative across its entire lineup of footwear.
