In November of 2017, Brooks Koepka, known for chipping and putting in Nike running shoes, asked the company to build a pair he could play a full round in. The Nike Air Zoom Infinity Tour is the result. The multi-material design has a waterproof Flyknit upper, a Nike Zoom Stroble plate for structure and comfort, a React midsole for energy return, more hex-shaped Zoom Air pods in the heel and forefoot, and a traction-heavy outsole to provide stability through even the most violent of swings. The result is a shoe that enabled Koepka to swing even faster than he could in the Tour Premiere model he wore when he won three previous majors. Arriving in stores April 1.
