Nike Alphafly 3 Proto Running Shoes
In 2019, Eliud Kipchoge broke the two-hour marathon barrier while wearing an Alphafly NEXT% prototype. Nike updates its record-breaking sneaker with the Nike Alphafly 3 Proto. It features a high-stack ZoomX foam midsole favored by runners and connects the heel and forefoot for a smoother transition. Air Zoom units added to the forefoot enhance energy return, while wider full-length carbon fiber Flyplate improves propulsion. A new Atomknit 3.0 upper increases breathability and is paired with a redesigned lacing system to elevate comfort. It's already been tested by elite marathoners, including Kelvin Kiptum's record-setting run in Chicago and Sifan Hissan's debut in London, where she clocked the second-fastest women's marathon of all time. The prototype colorway will be available on January 4, 2024.
