Nike Cortez '72 Sneakers
Nike digs into its rich history again to bring back the Nike Cortez '72 Shoes. The original innovation came from legendary track coach and Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman, who created the Cortez prototype that added midsole cushioning which greatly improved shock absorption at the heel. As important as that is though, these kicks are best known as the shoes Forrest Gump laced up to run across the country in. The brand new editions come with an updated leather upper, zigzag edges, a back pull tab, rubber toe cap, and a vintage inspired foam tongue.
