Omega Seamaster James Bond 60th Anniversary Watches
Since the premiere of Dr. No in 1962, each James Bond film has featured the "gun barrel" sequence. Omega's Seamaster James Bond 60th Anniversary watches recreate it on the caseback, using a patent-pending micro-structured metallization on the sapphire that creates a "moiré" effect animation as the seconds hand moves. The stainless steel reference is modeled on the Seamaster 300M worn by Pierce Brosnan in his first turn as 007, which was also the first time Bond wore an Omega on screen. It has a blue anodized aluminum "wave" dial and matching bezel with a commemorative "60" in place of the traditional inverted triangle. A second model in 18K Canopus Gold is inspired by Ian Fleming's Jamaican home GoldenEye, with a natural grey silicon dial and green and yellow diamonds laid into the bezel. Both arrive in special collectors packaging.
