2022 marks the 65th anniversary of the Omega Speedster's launch. That original model, the CK2915-1, is the inspiration for the new Speedmaster Calibre 321 Canopus Gold. As the name suggests, its 38.6 mm case has been crafted in Omega's 18K Canopus Gold white gold alloy and is powered by a modern rendition of the same Calibre 321 movement that was inside the original. Its Broad Arrow hands and indexes are made from 18K white gold with a Canopus Gold PVD treatment, and join other throwback details like an oval "O" in the Omega typography, a vintage logo, the famous dot over ninety and a dot diagonal to seventy on the black enamel-filled tachymeter scale bezel, and the NAIAD symbol on the watch's crown. It's set on a matching 18K Canopus Gold bracelet and arrives in a special wooden box inspired by those from 1957.
