Omega X Swatch Mission to the Moonshine MoonSwatch
Omega's Speedmaster was the first watch on the moon, so fittingly the company named their gold alloy "Moonshine Gold". Previously reserved for the most expensive of references, it's now making an appearance on the affordable MoonSwatch Mission to the Moonshine Watch. A collaboration between Omega and Swatch, the watch has a 42mm bioceramic case and a black dial that recalls the astronaut-worn model but has a seconds hand coated in the aforementioned gold, that was produced during a full moon in the month of February. Sure to sell out, the watch is available today only, and only at a single boutique in London, Milan, Tokyo, and Zurich. Omega has teased possible future releases, so perhaps other cities will see a drop of their own in the coming months.
