Panasonic HDR UHD VR Glasses

Given a circular silhouette to appear and feel more like traditional eyewear, Panasonic's latest VR glasses are even more notable for what's on the inside. Anticipating the greater bandwidth of 5G networks, they're capable of reproducing 4K ultra-high-definition images in HDR. To do this, they leverage a Kopin-developed optical module, paired with in-ear audio tuned by the Technics team so the sound matches the visuals. They're on display at the 2020 CES and will be further developed with an eye on an eventual commercial release.
