There's nothing like a tripod for ensuring a tack sharp shot — but it won't do you any good if you don't have it with you. The goal of Peak Design's Travel Tripod is to always be on hand. In an effort to eliminated dead space, the legs and center column nest perfectly together, resulting in a packed diameter of 3.25 inches — about the same as a water bottle. Despite this, it extends to 58.5 inches tall, with a reimagined ball head that offers 360-degree adjustment with a single adjustment ring. A quick-release plate makes attaching everything from smartphones to DSLRs a snap, and a built-in bubble level and counterweight hook make sure it has all the features necessary right out of the box. Available with carbon fiber or aluminum alloy legs, weighing 2.8 or 3.4 lbs., respectively.
