Picnic Pizza-Making Robot
Capable of cranking out 180 18-inch or 300 12-inch pies an hour with just a single worker keeping ingredients stocked, Picnic's Pizza-Making Robot could be a godsend for short-staffed restaurants. It uses computer vision and deep learning to ensure consistent output, and is modular in nature, letting the business add units/ingredients as needed. It's controlled via an app, will be available on a robot-as-service basis, with no up-front costs, and will soon be able to make a variety of foods, including salads, sandwiches, and bowls. The robot will be on display making pizzas at the 2020 CES in Las Vegas.
