Porsche Design Custom-Built Watches

Just as customers can completely customize their 911, now Porsche is letting them create custom Chronotimer Series 1 timepieces to match. The new service allows for unique combinations of case color, strap, stitching, dial ring and bezel, and rear rotor, the latter of which sits on the back above an in-house movement. In all, over 1.5 million different design configurations are possible and can be configured online using a tool based on the Porsche 911 car configurator. The watch is available in Germany now, and will be available stateside starting in September; the company also plans other custom watch releases to coincide with other models.
