Ranch Road House
The Ranch Road House isn't your typical Texas home. Made entirely out of concrete, the brooding brutalist fortress is perched on a 42-acre mountain top. Its L-shape wraps around the site affording the entire residence with panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. The 3,700-square foot interior shares the same monolithic facade as the exterior and offers 4 bedrooms, including a massive master suite, 2 bathrooms, and an optional wine cellar. The open living space's 13-foot ceilings are fitted with 7-foot tall windows that overlook the entire Texas Hill Country. And for the devoted gearhead, there's an 800-square-foot garage to house all the toys.
