Medical firms aren't the only ones working on mask innovation. Razer's Project Hazel has a number of features to help with social interaction while staying safe. It uses detachable, rechargeable active ventilators and Smart Pods to filter at least 95% of airborne particles and actively regulate airflow for optimized comfort. A clear, transparent design with interior lighting allows facial expressions and lip movement to be seen easily, while patent-pending VoiceAmp technology uses a built-in mic and amplifier to overcome the mask's muffling effects. Currently a concept, the mask will continue to be refined through testing and user feedback and is expected to ship with a UV-powered disinfecting charging box.
