Renault 4EVER Trophy Concept EV
From 1961 to 1992, Renault sold over eight million Renault 4 city cars. The compact shape, front-wheel drive layout, and hatchback would prove to be a look at the future of transportation and especially the Japanese economy cars to come. The Renault 4EVER Trophy builds on the legacy of the 4 and the 25th anniversary 4L Trophy Rally held every year since 1997. The 4EVER Trophy concept wraps Renault's EV platform in chunky, slightly retro-styled bodywork. The high beltline, roof rack, magenta accents, and futuristic wheels give the 4EVER a look that sits between off-roader and moon rover. The Renault 4EVER isn't headed to production, but expect to see elements of the design appear on new models going forward.
