Ressence Type 2 Watch

Originally debuted as a concept at SIHH 2018, the Ressence Type 2 is now available as a production model. As before, it's both a connected and traditional timepiece, relying on its signature e-Crown for automatic setting and adjustment through the companion app. This electronic component is charged via solar cells that sit behind 10 micro-shutters in the dial, exposing the cells automatically when the power is low. Despite all the technology, it's still a mechanical timepiece with a balance, escapement, mechanical disc-based time display, and a power saving function that will automatically hold the barrel after 12 hours of non-wear, only restarting after you've double tapped the sapphire crystal. The case and dial are crafted from Grade 5 titanium and come in gray or anthracite black with matching Ardillon buckle straps.
