RIMOWA x Winmau Aluminum Dartboard Case
RIMOWA's new campaign, shot at its historic Cologne factory and directed by Grégoire Dyer, stars actor Walton Goggins putting a limited-edition case through its paces on a quiet shift at the Maison's headquarters. The case itself is RIMOWA's first double-door aluminum dartboard cabinet, built in collaboration with Winmau, the official equipment supplier to the Professional Darts Corporation. Grooved aluminum panels, polished latch locks, and plane-engraved rivets carry over from RIMOWA's Classic luggage line, finished with a black leather handle so it carries like a briefcase instead of hanging flat. Inside, black microfibre surrounds a Winmau Blade X dartboard, and each door holds a three-dart set with RIMOWA-branded black shafts and red or green monogrammed flights, packed into a leather pouch. It follows a run of RIMOWA specialty cases built for other pastimes, including a poker attaché and a travel chess set, treating a bar-room fixture with the same materials as its luggage.
