Robert Plant's 1965 Aston Martin DB5
British cars and British rockstars go together hand-in-glove. Paul McCartney's DB5 is going up for auction and the DB5 of another member of British rock royalty is now for sale. This 1965 Aston Martin DB5 was owned by Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant from the early 1970s until 1986, all through the halcyon days of being in one of the biggest bands ever. After being sold, the car was restored and has been in the hands of Aston Martin specialists Nicholas Mee & Co since 2008.
