Robin Williams' Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Watch
Jaeger-LeCoultre designed the Reverso in 1931 so British polo players in India could flip the case and protect the dial mid-match. This Dual Time reference 270.8.54 belonged to Robin Williams, one of the most kinetic performers of his generation, whose 1990s alone included Aladdin, Mrs. Doubtfire, and Good Will Hunting, capped by an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. Dating to 2001, the watch's stainless steel case measures 26 by 42mm and houses two guilloché dials, a white face showing local time with a center seconds sub-dial and a black reverse displaying a second time zone with a 24-hour indicator. It arrives unpolished, in full set with box and papers, only the second time it has come to market since his death in 2014.
