Ruka Studio TD-1 Vertical Turntable

Mounting a record vertically instead of laying it flat raises an obvious question: does gravity throw off the needle's tracking force enough to damage the vinyl? The TD-1 answers with automatic calibration. Enter your cartridge's spec and the turntable sets and holds the correct tracking force on its own, keeping it in the same safe window a horizontal deck relies on. The body is machined aluminum with mechanical knobs and switches, no touchscreen, no app, and a magnetic clamp that pulls each record down and seats it in one motion. It's belt-driven, with the motor decoupled from the acrylic platter to cut vibration, and plays through either wired RCA into a hi-fi system or Bluetooth to wireless speakers. It mounts to a wall bracket, floor stand, or tabletop, and comes from Ruka Studio, a studio founded by former Apple engineers. The first production run is capped at 500 units.
