Scout Terra Truck
Alongside the new Traveler SUV, the reborn Scout will be building the Terra pickup at its new plant in South Carolina. Sharing the same platform as the Traveler, the Terra will use a pure 800-volt EV drivetrain or a hybrid range-extender with a gas generator that doesn't directly power the wheels. The Terra will come in all-wheel drive with an electric motor on the front and rear axles, with Scout claiming up to 1,000 lb-ft of torque and 0-60 in as little as 3.5 seconds. The off-road stats are equally impressive, with both trucks able to climb a 100% (45-degree) grade. Both the Terra Traveler and are engineered in Michigan with a new factory in South Carolina. Reservations are open now, with an estimated price of $60,000 when the trucks debut in 2027 for the 2028 model year.
