Combining LIP's heritage movement with Semper & Adhuc's modern components, the watchmaker has nearly fulfilled its quest to create a 100% French watch. The heart of the Instantee LIP is a hand-wound caliber LIP R100 manufactured from 1958 to 1970. It's stationed inside a 37mm satin-finished stainless steel case with an eyelet on the back to give a glimpse of the 50-year-old movement. A minimalist gray, white, and pink dial once again borrows from LIP's archives, finding inspiration in a chronograph from the 1970s. The timepiece is finished with a leather band from Vincent Jacquinot in Bordeaux and arrives displayed in a machined cork casket.
