Shen Tyrannosaurus Rex Skeleton
For the first time, Christie's Hong Kong is putting a Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton on its auction block. Unearthed in Montana, the apex predator known as Shen or "gold-like" dates back to the cretaceous period and measures 43 feet long and 16 feet tall. The fossil and its skull are incredibly well preserved and include important bones, including the Maxilla, Premaxilla, and Suprangular. A T-Rex Skeleton is extremely rare, and none have ever been displayed in a museum in Asia, making the sale even more extraordinary. She will be on display at the Victoria Theatre & Concert Hall in Singapore prior to its auction at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on November 30, 2022.
