Singer Thing 1 Porsche 911 Coupe
Singer's UK-based arm has released the first customer car based on its Dynamics & Lightweighting Study. Dubbed the Thing 1 by its owner, the car wears carbon fiber widebody panels painted in Parallax White. Special car was taken to maximize aerodynamics while keeping the car's classic lines, with the result being a subtle front splitter that feeds dual oil coolers and a rear diffuser. The rear quarter windows are formed with intakes that draw air into the four-liter, four-valve, air-cooled flat-six, developed in partnership with Williams Advanced Engineering. Inside, the six-speed titanium shift linkage is exposed, complimenting the lightweight carbon fiber seats with polished titanium grommets.
